Ian and Amalia shared their vows in an intimate ceremony overlooking the ocean in the tropical paradise of Maui, Hawaii!

This day was HOT in more ways than one!! Sure, maybe we sweat a little in the island heat, ;) but also just look at these two SMOKIN’ BABES!!! All kinds of heat on their day! When we did their engagement photos last Fall, it was a classic PNW-pouring-rain kind of day, so it was only fitting that their wedding day was full of sun and warmth!

Oh boy, did they pick a GORGEOUS place for their destination wedding! I now understand what the hype of being a Hawaii Wedding Photographer is all about! There’s something magical about the tropics – the way the jagged mountains meet the ocean and the golden beaches line the coast! You can’t go wrong with eloping or having your wedding in Hawaii!

We celebrated their sweet marriage on Molokini Bluff in the Grand Wailea Resort, surrounded by just their close family and friends. It was a beautiful, intimate ceremony recognizing the journey they’d taken to get there and the journey they were entering together. The ocean waves crashed in the background, the soundtrack to their wedding vows.
