Nicole + Marshall planned a gorgeous celebration for their wedding day at Castaway, with the perfect mix of classy urban vibes and lush greenery while exploring the botanical gardens! It was a full on party filled with so much joy as everyone gathered to celebrate alongside these two wonderful people!
Castaway is such a beautiful venue, surrounded by so many old Portland brick buildings and nestled right alongside a blooming nursery and greenhouse! It gives so much variety for pictures – whether you want that city industrial look or some moody nature looks! The venue interior is AMAZING! It’s filled with all the old structures and big windows looking out to the old neighborhoods.
These two fully embraced every moment of the day – from little getting ready moments, cheers with their friends, belly laughter, and sweet teary hugs. I noticed myself feeling all the feels alongside them, it’s crazy how connected I feel to people after experiencing a wedding day with them!! Even though the forcast shouted rain, we snuck by with a beautiful overcast, breezy day and were able to do all the photos outside! YAS! We hopping back and forth between doing the first look in the garden and then hopping over and exploring the urban corners of the streets! The whole venue space is such a perfect setting for everything, it has so much space and options!
All the joy in this day, so so so much joy.
